ABOUT DELILAH

Every brand we work with should win and want to tell people about it.

Built by people who've done the work

Our team comes from the other side of the camera and the studio. We've worked on campaigns, shoots, and productions for global fashion houses, major brands, record labels, modeling agencies, and creative studios, so we know what great content looks like and what it takes to make a brand stand out. Now we bring that same level to every client.

THE TEAM

Patrick Cotter, Founder

Patrick started Delilah because he's spent years on every side of how brands get made and seen. He's a producer and recording engineer who runs his own professional studio, and the founder of OTL Music, Delilah's music marketing division, where he works with artists, labels, and playlist brands to get songs heard.

In front of the camera, he's a signed model with Public Image and Freedom Models, and he's shot and worked with global names like Dior, Zara, and Vince. That's where he learned what separates content that looks good from content that actually performs.

When he's not in the studio or on set, he's on the water, running boats out of Newport Beach. He's built Delilah around one simple idea: every brand we work with should win, and want to tell people about it.

Instagram reposts for local businesses in Los Angeles and Orange County

Local Instagram reposts work best when the people sharing, the offer and the destination all belong to the same real-world market.

A local business does not need attention from everywhere. It needs recognition among people close enough to visit, book, order or tell a nearby friend. That is why geography is not a small detail in a repost campaign—it is part of the strategy.

Start smaller than “LA” or “OC”

Los Angeles and Orange County contain distinct communities with different routines and distances. A restaurant in Long Beach, a studio in Costa Mesa and a service business covering Irvine may all say they serve Southern California, but their useful audiences are not identical. Begin with the cities that generate real customers, then expand once the message proves itself.

Match the campaign to the buying radius

  • Walk-in businesses: prioritize the immediate city and neighboring areas.
  • Destination businesses: widen the campaign around a compelling event, opening or limited experience.
  • Mobile services: target the full service area, but keep the post explicit about where appointments are available.
  • Online brands with local identity: use LA or OC credibility as a story, not as a restriction on who can buy.

Build a post that helps locals decide

Include the city in the visual or first lines of the caption, state the offer plainly and remove uncertainty. Hours, dates, parking notes, reservation details and neighborhood landmarks can matter more than polished brand language. If a repost reaches the right person but leaves them hunting for basic information, the campaign loses momentum.

Use timing to create repeated recognition

For an ongoing service, distribute reposts across several days so local viewers encounter the business more than once. For an event, concentrate the first wave early enough for planning and keep a second wave close to the date. Monitor profile visits, map taps, reservation clicks, direct messages and offer redemptions rather than relying only on likes.

Repost campaigns vs. ads: which grows a local brand faster?

Repost campaigns create distributed social proof. Ads buy controlled reach. The faster option depends on whether the immediate job is trust, testing, scale—or all three.

Paid social ads and repost campaigns can put the same offer in front of local people, but they do it differently. Ads give the business control over audience settings, budget and creative testing. Reposts place the content inside a network of existing accounts, which can make the message feel more like community discovery than a direct advertisement.

When a repost campaign is the stronger first move

  • You want multiple local accounts talking about the same launch or event.
  • The business benefits from visible community participation.
  • You already have one strong organic post and want to extend its reach.
  • You need a defined campaign rather than ongoing media buying.

When paid ads have the advantage

  • You need precise demographic or behavioral targeting.
  • You want to test several creative versions quickly.
  • You have a conversion page and can track purchases or leads accurately.
  • You need continuous delivery that can scale with performance.

Which grows a local brand faster?

For a time-sensitive local moment, reposts can create visible momentum quickly because the same message appears through multiple community touchpoints. For predictable lead generation, ads are usually easier to optimize and scale. “Faster” should be tied to a specific result: awareness, profile visits, event responses, reservations or sales.

The combined approach

A practical launch can use reposts to build the first wave, then retarget engaged visitors with ads. Start with one clear source post. Coordinate local shares during the main launch window. Use the response to identify the strongest message, then place ad budget behind that angle. The channels support different parts of the same journey rather than competing for one winner.

Whichever channel you choose, keep geography, offer and measurement consistent. That makes the results comparable. To test the repost side with a defined quantity, visit Delilah’s Instagram repost campaign builder.

How to run a repost campaign for a launch or event

A strong launch campaign works backward from the date, gives every repost the same clear job and leaves enough time for interested people to act.

The most common event-campaign mistake is treating the repost date as the whole plan. A repost is one touchpoint. The source post, timing, local targeting, response plan and follow-up all determine whether attention turns into attendance or sales.

Two to three weeks before: define the conversion

Choose the single action that matters most: RSVP, buy a ticket, reserve a table, visit on opening day or save the launch date. Confirm the event details and the exact cities you need to reach. If there are several actions, choose one primary call to action and make the others secondary.

One to two weeks before: build the source post

The post should answer what, where, when and why now. Put the essential information in the creative or first caption lines, not behind several taps. Use a Reel when movement, atmosphere or a product demonstration strengthens the story; use a static or carousel post when details need to be scanned and saved.

Before distribution, check:

  • The date, time and location are consistent everywhere.
  • The booking, ticket or product link works on mobile.
  • The Instagram bio points to the same next step.
  • Someone is ready to answer comments and direct messages.
  • Inventory, reservations or capacity can handle the expected response.

Launch week: coordinate two waves

Use an early wave for awareness and planning. Use a later wave for urgency, updated availability or a final reminder. A one-day burst can work for a surprise drop, but most local events benefit from giving people time to coordinate. Ask participants to share the approved post rather than rewriting critical details independently.

After the launch: capture the learning

Record profile visits, link taps, RSVPs, ticket sales, reservations, direct messages and redemptions. Save the questions people asked; they reveal what the next post should explain better. Gather event footage and customer reactions while the moment is fresh so the campaign produces material for the next launch.

Delilah coordinates repost delivery and completion proof across real local accounts. Choose a quantity in the repost campaign pricing section, or request help with custom geography and timing.

Social media repost pricing: what should a business expect to pay?

The useful question is not only “How much is one repost?” It is what the price includes, how the accounts are selected and whether the campaign reaches the market your business can serve.

Repost campaign pricing varies because the underlying services vary. A low quote may cover nothing more than access to a loose list of accounts. A higher quote may include local targeting, campaign coordination, scheduling, replacements and completion reporting. Compare the whole delivery model, not just the cost per share.

Five factors that shape repost pricing

  1. Campaign volume. Larger runs usually lower the average cost per repost because setup and coordination are shared across more placements.
  2. Geographic precision. Finding credible accounts in a specific city requires more curation than broad, untargeted distribution.
  3. Account quality. Real local participation and genuine audience activity matter more than an impressive-looking follower total.
  4. Management. A managed campaign includes instructions, scheduling, follow-up and replacement handling when necessary.
  5. Reporting. Completion screenshots or a documented placement list make delivery verifiable.

How to compare two proposals

Ask each provider the same questions: Are the accounts tied to my target area? Is the quantity guaranteed? How long will delivery take? What happens if an account does not post? What proof will I receive? Are creative preparation and revisions included? A clear answer makes it possible to compare value rather than headline price.

Watch for costs outside the package

Your total campaign may also include content production, creator fees, paid usage rights, rush scheduling or design work. Those can be worthwhile, but they should be stated separately. If you already have a strong post, a distribution-only package can keep the budget focused.

Set the budget from the goal backward

A test campaign should be large enough to produce a noticeable local wave, but not so large that you cannot learn from it. Define what you will measure, run the first campaign, review the response and then scale the cities, quantity or creative. Delilah’s published pricing lets you choose any quantity from 1–500, with clear anchor packages at 25, 50 and 100 reposts.

See the live social media repost pricing calculator for the exact campaign cost at your chosen volume.

What is an Instagram repost campaign—and how does it work?

An Instagram repost campaign coordinates a group of relevant accounts to share one piece of content, creating repeated local exposure around a business, offer, event or announcement.

A repost campaign is organized distribution. Instead of waiting for one post to travel on its own, a campaign gives it multiple points of entry into the feeds and Stories of the audience you want to reach. For a local business, those entry points should be real accounts connected to the target area—not a random list selected only for follower count.

What happens during a repost campaign?

  1. The business chooses one clear goal. That might be event attendance, awareness in a new city, traffic to a launch post or visibility for a limited offer.
  2. The campaign defines geography and volume. A neighborhood opening needs a tighter radius than a Southern California brand launch. The number of reposts should match the size and urgency of the moment.
  3. The content is prepared for sharing. The strongest source post explains what is happening, who it is for, where it is and what the viewer should do next.
  4. Accounts share in a coordinated window. Spreading delivery across several days can sustain attention; a shorter burst can create urgency around a date.
  5. The business receives completion proof. Screenshots or another clear record should show that the agreed distribution happened.

What a repost campaign can—and cannot—do

Reposts can increase local exposure, social proof and the number of chances someone has to notice an offer. They do not fix unclear creative, a weak offer or a confusing landing experience. Distribution works best when the underlying post gives viewers a reason to stop and an obvious next step.

Prepare these five things before launch

  • A single primary post or Reel
  • The city or cities that matter
  • The campaign deadline or event date
  • One measurable action, such as profile visits, reservations or ticket clicks
  • A plan to answer comments and messages while attention is highest

For local campaigns, relevance usually matters more than raw reach. Ten accounts connected to the right communities can be more useful than a much larger group with no relationship to the market. Ask how accounts are selected, how timing is managed and what reporting is included before comparing package prices.

See Delilah’s Instagram repost pricing and campaign builder to choose an exact quantity.
